The controller for the data processing of our company in Argentina, regarding https://argentina.payu.com, is E-Payments SA (from now on PayU Argentina), located in Rondeau 2664, 2nd floor, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Personal Information as defined by the Personal Data protection law (Law 25.326/2000) is: any kind of information related to a natural or legal person whether they are determined or determinable.

 

Depending on who you are (for example, a store, client, cardholder, consumer, supplier or commercial ally) and how you interact with us (for example by phone, online or offline), we can collect, use, receive, store, analyse, combine, transfer, delete or otherwise process different categories of personal information. Accordingly, PayU will store your information in the appropriate database, either manually or electronically, depending on the type of processing.

To process your personal information, PayU Argentina, relies only on the legal grounds established on section 4 of the Global Privacy Statement: (i) consent, (ii) contractual relationship, (iii) compliance of legal obligations. Furthermore, PayU can process your information when it is obtained from public records with no restriction, as it is defined by Argentinian law.

As the Data Subject you authorize us to process this information to accomplish the purposes established in this Policy when you verify and accept  the terms and conditions of use of PayU services and this Privacy policy via our website or by any means in which you granted us authorization.

5. PURPOSES FOR WHICH PayU MAY PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you are a buyer/ payer and you are interested in using the credit card storage for future payments functionality called “PayU Click”, which you will find available at the moment of your payment, you can store and have at your disposal the information related to the credit cards you wish at PayU. For “PayU Click” to be operative, we will store the data regarding your electronic device (device id),  your credit  cards  such as card number, expiration date, franchise and issuing bank.
